Michael was greeted by 3 crying girls as he came to pick us up this morning to drop us back in Haywards Heath. After we were dragged kicking and screaming from the house the mood lightened as we had a delightful conversation about the menstural cycle of chickens and Snoop Dogs change of name!
The days walk went really well as we walked at a steady and comfortable pace in the bright sunshine. We made good time, had lunch in a quaint farm tea room and got to see the animals too!!
Illy and Gary met us in Newhaven with all of our luggage where they treated us to a lovely pub dinner and gave us a final farewell!
We are now waiting to board the Seven Sisters ferry to Dieppe ready to embark on the French side of our adventure!
