Day 2 Reigate- Haywards Heath

Hooray, day 2 is over! And just one more day's walking till we're in (possibly) sunny France! We had a very surprising start when Richie picked us up at 9.30, took us back to Reigate and then 7 of our friends from Superfish- plus 100 jammy croissants courtesy of Illy- jumped out in the carpark ready to walk with us!

It then started raining torrentially and we All. Got. Soaked! The Superfish lot walked with us for an amazing 8 miles to a pub where we had a pint and said goodbye then carried on solo!

The rain stopped but the rest of the walk seemed to drag as we walked through hilly Sussex with miles and miles of long roads with nothing in sight but rolling hills. The blisters kicked in, our muscles got stiff, but jumping over the line into Haywards Heath was the best feeling ever!

A massive thank you to our lovely crazy superfish family who cheered us up so much on what would have been a long long day! We <3 you
A few weirdos we met en route :)

Power songs:
Nicki Minaj- Starships
Kanye West - Stronger
Single file duckling style
And, of course, Eye of the Tiger

Mood- Moist

Bathroom breaks- 3-5 (guess who had five)

Roll on tomorrow- its ferry time!
