10 Mile Walk from Ashtead to Kingston!

Today Emily and I completed our first training walk together, walking 10 miles from Ashtead to Kingston in 3 hours! We were very pleased with this time and think that the incentive of visiting Gourmet Burger Kitchen once we got to Kingston definitely spurred us on!
Towards the end of the 10 miles, we began to feel slightly sore and it suddenly dawned on us that we would be walking double this distance in 1 day for a continuous 10 days when we walk to France... But we love a challenge!! So out next training walk we will be walking there and back with Leanne aswell!
Apparently a good way to toughen up your feet is to put Surgical Spirit on them or something which i will be looking in to - does anyone have any other suggestions of how to condition our feet for the walk??
